Eidan Havas is the Principal of First Choice Legal, a boutique law firm known for delivering personalised and professional services across various legal areas. With over 12 years of experience, Eidan has established himself as a passionate and innovative entrepreneur in the legal field, particularly in the burgeoning medicinal cannabis industry. As the founder of MiDispensary and The Entourage Effect, he has seamlessly integrated his legal expertise with his entrepreneurial ventures, connecting patients with doctors and serving as a wholesaler of Schedule 4 and 8 medicinal cannabis products. Eidan began his legal journey after completing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance at the University of Central Florida. He further honed his legal skills by earning a Juris Doctor in Corporate and Commercial Law from Bond University and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The Australian National University. Since his admission as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2009, and later as a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia, Eidan has specialised in criminal law, general litigation, and notably, commercial litigation and bankruptcy law. In his role at First Choice Legal, Eidan frequently appears in the Local, District, and Supreme Courts of New South Wales, and has made notable appearances in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia. His advocacy skills, marked by intelligence and confidence, have earned him respect as a formidable presence in the courtroom. His realistic, no-nonsense approach endears him to clients who value his determination and professionalism. Eidan’s commitment to the community is evidenced by his membership on the Criminal and Civil Law Panel with the Legal Aid Commission of New South Wales. He is dedicated to providing representation to those eligible for Legal Aid, ensuring access to justice across various community demographics. Prior to establishing his law firms, Eidan gained extensive experience as an insolvency practitioner at Woodgate & Company. There, he managed personal bankruptcies, director’s duties investigations, and asset sales, showcasing his proficiency in negotiating and drafting crucial legal documents. Eidan’s earlier experience as a paralegal under the guidance of Barrister Joe Crowley laid a strong foundation for his accomplished legal career.
