Amanda Salama

Amanda Salama is a distinguished senior lawyer with a robust career spanning the legal and human resources sectors. Since entering the legal profession in 2004, Amanda has built a diverse portfolio of experience, working as a paralegal, Tipstaff to a Supreme Court of NSW Judge, and later as a solicitor. Admitted to practice in 2007, her expertise lies in commercial litigation, honed through positions in mid and top-tier legal firms, as well as in-house roles in the banking, finance, and construction industries. For seven years, Amanda led the legal, compliance, and human resources operations of a leading civil construction company in Sydney, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of compliance and governance within highly regulated industries. This role augmented her capacity to navigate complex legal and commercial challenges. A pragmatic lawyer with a keen commercial mindset, Amanda is currently in her second term as a non-executive director at CORE Community Services. This large not-for-profit organisation supports South-West Sydney with a range of services including aged care, NDIS, youth programs, and multicultural initiatives.
