Matthew Ilgoutz is the Principal Lawyer at Forward Family Law, specialising in Family Law since commencing his legal career in 2016. With a focus on delivering clear and practical advice, Matthew expertly guides clients through emotionally challenging times. He is well-versed in personally appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in Melbourne and the Magistrates Court of Victoria, showcasing a pragmatic approach to negotiations while ensuring effective outcomes. His professional journey includes a tenure as an Associate in Family Law at Bramham Lawyers, as well as roles at Oxford Partners Lawyers and Suke & Associates, where he honed his expertise. Matthew's commitment to the legal profession began as a Paralegal, having previously volunteered with the Moonee Valley Legal Service, and initially started as a Law Graduate at Phillips & Wilkins Solicitors. Matthew completed his Practical Legal Training at the Victorian College of Law and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Deakin University. Outside of his legal practice, he dedicates time to enhancing his German language skills and enjoys swimming in the bay.
