Robert Millard

Robert Millard is a Director and an Accredited Specialist in Family Law, having practised exclusively in family law for over 10 years, since joining Fox & Staniland in 2016. Robert is dedicated to providing thorough and practical advice while leading clients to a desirable outcome, working across a broad spectrum of Family Law matters, including: 1. Resolving complex property matters and disputes. 2. Preparing and advising on binding financial agreements prenuptial agreements. 3. Spouse maintenance disputes. 4. A varied range of parenting disputes including relocation applications, recovery orders, and matters involving family violence. 5. Child Support matters including child support departure orders applications and preparing and advising on Binding Child Support Agreements and Limited Child Support Agreements. Robert is confident in navigating clients through negotiation, mediation and collaborative practice models to assist clients in finalising their disputes swiftly by consent, with minimal stress and discomfort. However, when litigation is necessary Robert appears in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Robert successfully represented the Applicant Mother in the matter of Angwin & Angwin [2025] FedCFamC2F 789, which involved the consideration of an unacceptable risk of harm to a child arising from the impact of exposure to family violence. Robert is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, and NSW Young Lawyers, Family Law Section.
