About Mark
Mark Frampton is an accomplished barrister with a distinguished legal career that began as an Associate to Supreme Court Judge, Sir George Kneipp KBE. In 1987, after his admission as a lawyer, Mark took on the role of Crown Prosecutor with the Office of the Director of Prosecutions, where he honed his skills in trial work. By 1989, he had opened his chambers as a private barrister, focusing on criminal defence work and civil litigation. His career path shifted in 1995 when he transitioned to practice as a solicitor, engaging in civil, injury, and insurance litigation, and gained recognition as a trusted legal advisor for Coles Myer Ltd.
In 1997, Mark moved to the Gold Coast and became a partner at Primrose Couper Cronin Rudkin Lawyers. His expertise was further acknowledged during his tenure as Special Counsel at Minter Ellison Lawyers and McDonald Balanda Lawyers. This extensive experience laid the foundation for Mark to open Frampton Legal in 2007, where he continues to offer his extensive knowledge in civil, corporate, partnership, debt recovery, contract, building and insurance disputes, alongside personal injury matters. Mark has been a dedicated member of the Australian Plaintiff Lawyers Association since 2000, highlighting his commitment to his clients and the legal profession.
Mark's considerable experience is underscored by his roles as Principal at Frampton Legal, Special Counsel at MBA Lawyers and Gall Standfield & Smith Solicitors, and as a partner and senior solicitor at leading law firms in the Gold Coast and Brisbane. His academic grounding was established at the Queensland Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's degree in Law, complemented by his training with the Barristers' Board of Queensland. His educational journey began at Ignatius Park College in Townsville, setting the stage for a career marked by legal acumen and client-focused service.
