Jennifer Franklin is a highly experienced family law solicitor with over 25 years in the legal profession. As the Director of Franklin Family Law, she brings extensive expertise in handling complex property and parenting matters, consistently offering compassionate and clear advice to her clients. Jennifer's academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Law, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, and a Masters in Applied Law (Family Law). She is a distinguished member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and a Fellow of the College of Law. Admitted to practice in Queensland, New South Wales, and the High Court of Australia, Jennifer began her career with the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions before transitioning to family law in 1997. After founding her practice in Sydney in 2007, Jennifer balanced her professional pursuits with raising her own family. Her practice flourished, and in 2017, she returned to Brisbane to establish Franklin Family Law, which operates in both Brisbane and Sydney. Jennifer frequently meets clients in both cities, maintaining a strong presence and commitment to providing expert family law services. Her work includes acting as an Independent Children’s Lawyer in complex parenting cases and volunteering at Women’s Legal Services to support women facing family law and domestic violence issues.
