Her legal career began in 1997 as a legal assistant with a prominent Brisbane law firm, where she honed her skills and developed a keen interest in personal injury law. In 1999, Alica transitioned to the Gold Coast, continuing her work as a legal assistant in the area of personal injury. She embarked on a five-year Articles of Clerkship in 2002, further solidifying her expertise in legal practice. Alica obtained her Law Degree from Queensland University of Technology in 2008 and was admitted as a Solicitor to both the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia the same year.
