Glynn Williams

Glynn Williams is the Principal Solicitor and Barrister at Glynn Williams Legal, bringing a wealth of experience since his admission to practice in 1993. He graduated from the University of Tasmania in Hobart, following his early education in Ulverstone and at Don College. Glynn commenced his legal career as a summer clerk with Crisp Hudson and Mann before founding Walsh Day Williams in Ulverstone in 1998, returning to serve his local community. A lifelong resident of Tasmania’s North West Coast, Glynn combines his legal practice with a strong connection to agriculture, being a multi-generation family farmer. His commitment to community service is reflected in his extensive involvement with organisations such as Poppy Growers Tasmania, where he has served as President, and NW Hospice Care, of which he is a Life Member. Glynn also contributed to regional development as a member and Chairman of the Cradle Coast Authority Board from 2008 to 2016. Glynn Williams Legal serves a diverse client base across North and North West Tasmania. The firm provides expertise in family law, local government and town planning law, and more recently has expanded into estate litigation. With a solid foundation in property law and supported by an experienced paralegal team, Glynn is dedicated to assisting small businesses and local families with their investments in businesses and residential property throughout Tasmania.
