Scott Lorback serves as a Senior Solicitor and Associate Director at Greenhalgh Pickard. Before embarking on his legal journey, Scott gained extensive experience as a boilermaker and welder, successfully managing his own steel fabrication business for five years. This hands-on trade experience equips him with a unique perspective to meet his clients' practical needs and deliver direct, effective legal advice. In the course of his legal career, Scott has dealt with various aspects of law, including family, commercial, property, personal injuries, and succession law. Since joining Greenhalgh Pickard, Scott has concentrated on succession law, and in 2017, he took over as the head of the Wills & Estates department. He now oversees estate planning and administration teams with a personal focus on trust and estate litigation. Outside the office, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and young children and takes every opportunity to be in the surf. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from Bond University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with Distinction from the Australian National University. He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Scott is an active member of the Sunshine Coast Law Association, volunteers as a solicitor at the Suncoast Community Legal Service, and is involved with the Queensland Law Society, Law Council of Australia, and Migration Institute of Australia.
