Carol Grimshaw

With over 25 years of industry experience, Carol Grimshaw is the owner and Principal Lawyer of Grimshaw Legal, delivering modern, client-focused services to the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. Her extensive education includes a Master of Laws from Monash University, a Master of Applied Law from the College of Law, and a Bachelor of Legal Studies from La Trobe University. Carol also holds an Advanced Diploma of Business in Legal Practice from RMIT University. Throughout her career, Carol has worked across various legal environments, including small to top-tier private firms, semi-government, and government organisations. Her dedication to learning and supporting legal professionals across their careers highlights her commitment to the field. Since gaining admission to practice in 2010, she has demonstrated exceptional capabilities in both transactional and court-based matters. Carol's practice includes providing tailored legal services, either as outsourced legal support or as an in-house freelancer for businesses. Her practical knowledge extends to regulatory bodies and courts, including the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, the Supreme Court of Victoria, and the Federal Courts of Australia. In addition to managing Grimshaw Legal since 2018, Carol founded The Dear Sir(s) Project, further showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to legal innovation.
