Jillian Basson

Jillian Basson is a Senior Associate at Harrisonslaw, bringing a unique blend of legal and financial expertise to her practice. Originally admitted as a solicitor in South Africa, Jillian practised primarily in conveyancing before transitioning to a senior corporate legal advisor role within a leading financial services company. Her strong focus on financial planning is supported by a Postgraduate and Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning and the esteemed Certified Financial Planner designation. Since relocating to Australia with her family, Jillian has furthered her qualifications with a Diploma in Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from QUT. She joined Harrisonslaw as a paralegal and was admitted as a solicitor in Queensland in December 2018. Jillian’s practice encompasses Wills and Estates, where she leverages her combined legal and financial background to provide informed advice on superannuation and estate planning matters.
