Denise Maxwell is the Legal Practice Director and Founder of Hensen Maxwell Solicitors. With an admission to practice in both the Queensland Supreme Court and the Australian High Court, Denise primarily serves clients within the Queensland jurisdiction. Her extensive experience in commercial law encompasses the purchase and sale of business interests, as well as the negotiation of commercial leases. Over her thirty-year career, she has demonstrated a commitment to assisting diverse communities, particularly the LGBTIQ community, in achieving equitable legal solutions. Denise offers a wealth of knowledge in litigation across various courts, including the Federal, Supreme, District, and Magistrates Courts. Her ability to facilitate negotiated outcomes is invaluable in achieving cost-effective solutions for her clients. She is skilled in handling agreements between Australian companies and international manufacturers and suppliers, as well as managing commercial leases and contracts. Beyond her professional life, Denise enjoys spending time with her Lhasa Apso dogs and Burmese cat, and she has a burgeoning interest in making sourdough.
