Tamana Daqiq

Tamana Daqiq is the Principal Solicitor at Hikma Legal, bringing over 15 years of experience focused primarily on family law. She co-founded the firm in 2017, serving clients in the Hills district of Sydney’s northwest. Tamana is known for her strong advocacy and dedication to addressing her clients’ individual circumstances and needs throughout the legal process. Tamana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Laws, graduating with first-class honours, as well as a Master of Islamic Studies from Charles Sturt University. She also completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Law with a focus on Family Dispute Resolution. Additionally, Tamana is an accredited mediator and family dispute resolution practitioner and established Hikma Mediation as a complementary service to her legal practice. Her academic contributions include a role as a research fellow at the University of Sydney Law School. Beyond her legal and academic work, Tamana has participated as a panelist on ABC RN’s God Forbid program and has published opinion pieces in major media outlets on a range of important social and legal topics. Driven by a strong commitment to community service and human rights, Tamana is passionate about supporting individuals facing challenging situations and ensuring they receive compassionate and effective legal assistance.
