He also undertook a senior role at Addisons, where he advised on both litigious and non-contentious matters during a contract as a maternity leave replacement. Luke's strategic acumen was further demonstrated during his tenure as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Avanti Imports Pty Limited. There, he managed the company's legal affairs, oversaw business restructuring, and ensured compliance with corporate regulations. His role included spearheading strategic business initiatives, managing all litigious matters, and providing employment law advice. Earlier in his career, Luke was a Senior Associate at Turks Legal, representing liquidators, trustees, and major trade credit insurers in intricate matters such as voidable transactions, insolvent trading, and security enforcement. His robust litigation experience spans director duties, breach of contract, and unjust enrichment issues across various courts, including the High Court. Luke began his legal journey as a Senior Lawyer at Watson Mangioni, acting for liquidators and trustees on matters involving voidable transactions and insolvent trading claims. He also provided counsel on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising for small to medium-sized businesses. Luke completed his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney, where he was also an accomplished athlete, earning a gold medal with the University Games Squash Team in 1995.
