Jason Hones

Jason Hones is the Managing Partner at Hones Lawyers, bringing a wealth of experience from his extensive career in the legal field since 1993. Initially working in the building industry as a carpenter and project manager, Jason transitioned to law and was admitted to practice in 2002. His background provides a unique perspective and a practical approach to his legal practice, which is centred on planning, environmental, local government, and compulsory land acquisition law. Jason's expertise is reflected in his regular appearances in both the Land & Environment Court and the Court of Appeal, where he manages a wide array of cases from Class 1 development appeals and land contamination issues to Class 4 civil proceedings and Class 5 criminal prosecutions.
