Rob began his professional journey with Price Waterhouse in Sydney, completing his chartered accountancy in 1988. His legal path progressed when he was seconded to Sly & Russell, now Norton Rose Fulbright, where he became a partner in 1991. Rob's legal expertise spans diverse corporate and commercial areas, including corporations law, trusts, competition and consumer law, finance, and securities. He focuses on business succession planning, joint ventures, and corporate insolvency. His extensive experience includes serving as a director on various high-profile boards, such as NRMA, CBUS, and Utilities Trust of Australia, where he contributed to finance and investment committees. As a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, Rob is also a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia, the Law Society of New South Wales, and the Law Council of Australia. Admitted as a solicitor to the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of each Australian State and Territory, Rob extends his practice internationally as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, remaining on the Roll of Solicitors in the United Kingdom. He is also a Public Notary. Rob advises a broad spectrum of international and Australian corporations as well as high net worth individuals. As the firm's solicitor director, he is the nominated solicitor of record for client litigation.
