Before joining Integrated Legal, Madhu held the position of General Counsel for the Asia-Pacific region at Westcon Group Australia, where he directed legal, risk, and governance operations across multiple jurisdictions. His role involved advising on cross-border risk, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance, as well as negotiating complex international contracts and supporting regional corporate expansion initiatives. Prior to this, Madhu was a Senior Associate at Blake Dawson, where he provided comprehensive legal counsel to Commonwealth departments and agencies on public law, regulatory, and commercial matters. His work involved advising on governance, statutory interpretation, and administrative decision-making, as well as representing major government clients in high-profile legal proceedings. At DLA Piper, he gained significant experience in compensation claims and policy implementation, while managing intricate litigation and authoring significant texts in workers' compensation law. Madhu began his career at Sparke Helmore Lawyers, where he managed litigation and advisory matters for government agencies, insurers, and corporates, regularly appearing in tribunals and courts. His work included handling workers’ compensation, insurance liability, and statutory interpretation cases. Alongside his legal practice, Madhu has contributed as a Guest Academic at the Australian National University, enriching the legal community with his knowledge and experience. He holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Sydney, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Flinders University.
