David MCcarthy

David McCarthy is a distinguished patent and trade mark attorney with extensive experience spanning over two decades, particularly in the biomedical, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries. He embarked on his academic journey at Murdoch University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science with honours, focusing on biotechnology and biomedical science. During his studies, David engaged in pioneering research on novel compounds as potential anti-malarial agents and investigated peptides linked to multiple sclerosis. His research career progressed at the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research, now known as the Harry Perkins Institute, where he delved into cell signalling pathways associated with haematopoiesis and blood cancers.
