Jim Middlemis

Jim Middlemis is the Principal Lawyer at Middlemis & Associates, combining extensive experience in both accounting and law to serve the Bendigo community. Admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in 1982, Jim has focused his legal practice on Family Law since 1992. Over the years, he has developed a reputation for effectively managing complex financial issues within family law matters, helping clients achieve timely outcomes while reducing unnecessary costs and emotional strain. Jim’s approach emphasises client advocacy and practical resolutions, principles that underpin the firm’s commitment to supporting the local community. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne and a Diploma of Business Studies. Jim is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia.
