Maddy Connor

Maddy Connor, appointed as a Principal at JPM Legal in September 2025, has been a valued member of the firm since August 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wollongong, with a major in Politics and a minor in Sociology. Maddy further refined her legal expertise by completing a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law before her admission as a lawyer in October 2021. In her principal role, Maddy manages the legal practice and leads the team at JPM Legal, focusing primarily on Criminal and Care and Protection matters. She has represented clients in numerous courts across New South Wales, including the Local, District, Supreme, and Children's Courts. Her expertise in care and protection proceedings is frequently demonstrated in both the Children’s and District Courts. Prior to her current position, Maddy gained invaluable experience as a Legal and Administrative Assistant at Brander Smith McKnight Lawyers and gained practical insights during her internship at Kells Lawyers. Her previous roles in the hospitality industry honed her skills in customer service, management, and communication, providing a diverse foundation for her legal career. Maddy's academic journey was marked by active participation in legal competitions and mentorship programs, underscoring her commitment to excellence and professional development in the legal field.
