Jessica Burns is the principal solicitor at JR Burns Law, where clients are at the forefront of every endeavour. With a comprehensive background in family law, Jessica has been an integral part of the legal community since 2012. She holds a Master of Laws from Queensland University of Technology, specialising in key areas such as family law, estate planning, health law, and medical negligence. This advanced knowledge empowers her to deliver exceptional service to each client, addressing their unique circumstances with empathy and precision. Jessica commenced her career as a legal assistant with MTM Lawyers, progressing to a lawyer at Sandra Sinclair Lawyers. Her dedication and expertise led to her role as an associate and then partner at Koolik & Associates Lawyers, where she honed her skills over four years. In 2021, she founded JR Burns Law in Brisbane, where she has since served as the principal director, guiding clients through emotionally and legally complex situations. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law. Additionally, Jessica completed a Legal Practice Management Course, equipping her with essential skills for managing legal practices effectively.
