About Faiyaaz
Faiyaaz Shafiq is a Senior Associate at JS Mueller & Co Lawyers, with a distinguished career in litigation law since 1995. His expertise spans commercial litigation, including debt recovery, personal and company insolvency, strata litigation, and building and construction disputes. Admitted to practice in the Supreme Courts of New South Wales and Queensland, as well as the High Courts of Australia and Fiji, Faiyaaz brings a wealth of legal acumen to his clients.
He completed his Bachelor of Laws at the Queensland University of Technology in 1994, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 1995. His career has taken him through reputable firms in Queensland, New South Wales, and Fiji before he joined JS Mueller & Co Lawyers. Of Fijian descent, Faiyaaz is fluent in Native Fijian, Hindi, and Urdu, enabling him to serve a diverse clientele.
