Shana Yeap

Shana Yeap is a Legal Practitioner Director at JSY Legal, where she excels in navigating the intersections of Family and Criminal Law. Since her admission to practice in 2016, she has been a versatile advocate, representing clients in the Supreme Court of WA, the High Court of Australia, and various other courts including the Magistrates, Family, District, and Children's Courts. Her practice is characterised by effectively handling cases that involve complex issues such as family violence, child harm, and coercive control. Shana provides an integrated approach through her expertise in both Restraining Order proceedings and connected Family Law matters, streamlining the process for her clients and ensuring their rights and safety are protected without the need for multiple legal representatives. Shana's pragmatic advice is complimented by her understanding of the cultural nuances that can influence legal disputes. With fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese, she is adept at serving clients from Asian backgrounds, offering them insightful and culturally sensitive representation.
