Sally O'Connor has been an integral part of Just Family Law since 2012 and is dedicated to family law, a field she has focused on since her university graduation in 2013 and subsequent admission in 2015. Her practice is centred on delivering the best possible outcomes for her clients, providing a practical and empathetic approach during challenging times. Sally's passion for family law drives her commitment to advocating for the rights of parents and children. She brings extensive experience handling complex parenting and financial matters, including property settlements, spousal maintenance, intervention orders, child care arrangements, and interstate and international relocations. Sally is skilled in navigating Hague Convention matters and adept at preparing and advising on Financial and Child Support Agreements, including guidance on setting them aside when necessary. Her ability to assist clients in reaching settlements outside the courtroom is matched by her expertise in guiding them through the intricate processes of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Family Court of Australia. Her proficiency extends to mediation, family dispute resolution, and conferencing, preparing her clients thoroughly for litigation. Sally is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Australia and the Law Council of Australia. She also has a history of volunteering with the Family Law Assistance Program. Currently, she serves on the committee of the Southern Solicitors Law Association and is an active voting member of the consumer advocacy group, CHOICE.
