KD & Co Lawyers is led by Kaela Dore, Principal Solicitor and former Deputy Registrar of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Kaela’s experience within the Court, together with her experience in private practice, provides her with a strong understanding of the family law system from both inside and outside the courtroom. Her approach is practical and strategic, with an emphasis on resolving matters efficiently where possible while ensuring clients are appropriately represented when litigation becomes necessary. Kaela also practises in Criminal Law and represents clients in proceedings before both the Magistrates Court and District Court of South Australia. She provides advice and representation across a broad range of criminal matters and at all stages of proceedings, including court appearances, pleas, sentencing matters, contested hearings and District Court proceedings. Clients are provided with clear advice about the charges they face, the court process, their available options and the potential outcomes of their matter. We also assist clients with Wills and Estates matters, providing practical advice to help clients plan for the future and navigate estate-related issues with clarity and confidence. We recognise that accessing legal advice needs to fit around work, family and everyday life. In addition to appointments at our Adelaide office, KD & Co Lawyers offers remote and virtual consultations. Our Family Law practice also allows us to assist clients beyond South Australia where appropriate, particularly in matters arising under the federal family law jurisdiction.
