Kevin Cartledge is the founder and principal of KDC Legal, bringing over two decades of experience in criminal law, regulatory prosecutions, administrative law, and government compliance and enforcement. He commenced his legal career in 2005 at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Queensland, focusing on serious criminal prosecutions. Transitioning to private practice, Kevin honed his defence skills at a notable criminal defence firm before moving to an in-house position with the Brisbane City Council in 2013. At the Council, Kevin directed the litigation risk and enforcement team, managing complex regulatory prosecutions and appeals while providing comprehensive advice on compliance matters. As an experienced advocate, he has frequently conducted trials, hearings, and appeals as a solicitor advocate.
