Kay Abela is the Principal and owner of KEA Legal, having dedicated over a decade to the practice of family law in South East Queensland. With a deep understanding of the emotional complexities surrounding family disputes, Kay is committed to guiding her clients through one of the most challenging periods of their lives. Her personal experiences with divorce inform her empathetic approach, ensuring clients receive both compassionate and knowledgeable support. Kay's impressive qualifications include a Master of Applied Law in Family Law and accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. Her admission to the Supreme Court of Queensland and entry onto the High Court Register reflect her commitment to legal excellence. Additionally, Kay holds a Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution and a Bachelor of Laws. As a member of several esteemed associations, including the Qld Law Society and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, Kay remains actively involved in the legal community.
