Alexis Vaughan

Alexis Vaughan has dedicated her legal career to Family Law, practising exclusively in this area since 2006. She joined Keating Lehn in 2009 and has since been committed to guiding clients through the complexities and emotional challenges often involved in family law matters. Alexis holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business (International Business) with Distinction from Queensland University of Technology, supplemented by a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, Queensland. In 2017, she achieved accreditation from the Queensland Law Society in Family Law, earning the highest mark in Queensland within her cohort. Her expertise has been recognised in Doyle’s Guide to the Legal Profession, where she has been listed as a Recommended Family Lawyer on the Gold Coast over several years. In 2024, she was acknowledged in both the Leading Family & Divorce Lawyers – Gold Coast category and the Leading Parenting & Children’s Matters Lawyers – Regional Queensland category. Alexis is committed to providing clear and practical advice, while listening to her clients with empathy. She understands the importance of maintaining respectful and child-focused outcomes, which can sometimes be overlooked after separation, and strives to achieve such results wherever possible. Her experience spans negotiation, mediation, and various forms of alternative dispute resolution, alongside representing clients in litigation within the Federal Circuit and Family Courts when necessary.
