Mathew Vincent

Mathew Vincent is the Principal Solicitor and Director at Kennedy & Cooke, bringing over a decade of legal experience to his role. He began his career managing litigated claims for a national insurance company before transitioning into private practice as a litigation lawyer at a national mid-tier firm. Since joining Kennedy & Cooke in February 2015, Mathew has progressed to Partner, effective from July 2018. With a solid commercial foundation, Mathew holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Economics from the University of Wollongong. He furthered his legal education with a Juris Doctor from the University of Technology Sydney and is a member of the Law Society of NSW. Admitted to practice in both the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia, Mathew is well equipped to provide comprehensive legal services. Mathew offers pragmatic and commercially focused advice, aiming to resolve disputes efficiently. When matters must be settled through litigation, he is an accomplished advocate with extensive experience representing clients in Family Law, Criminal Law, Family Provision Claims and Civil Litigation across various court levels. Outside his professional life, Mathew is an enthusiastic sports follower, especially of rugby league and his cherished Parramatta Eels.
