Brian Kilmartin brings a wealth of legal expertise to the Kilmartin Law Group, where he serves as a Consultant. With a distinguished career spanning several decades, Brian has made significant contributions to the legal landscape of Queensland. From 2006 to 2021, he dedicated his efforts as a Magistrate, focusing primarily on the domestic and family violence jurisdiction. His time on the bench endowed him with a profound understanding of the complexities of such sensitive matters. Before his tenure in the Magistrates Court, Brian carved out a successful career as a partner in private practice, specialising in industrial law, compensation, and personal injuries. His extensive experience in these areas provided him with a distinct perspective and a practical approach to client representation. His commitment to the legal profession is further evidenced by his 13-year service on the Queensland Law Society Council, where he took on the role of Chairman of the Legal Aid Board, advocating for accessible legal services.
