Her journey in law began with a strong family influence, leading her to embrace the profession with passion and commitment to her community. At KKP Law, based in Canberra, she focuses on contract and commercial leases, conveyancing for both residential and commercial properties, as well as comprehensive estate planning, including wills, probate, and contesting matters. Before establishing her own firm, Karishma gained extensive experience at Gateway Legal in Canberra, where she served in various capacities over an eleven-year period. As a Senior Associate, she honed her expertise in general law practice and court matters, dealing with property, commercial law, civil litigation, criminal defence, family law, and estate planning. Karishma's role involved drafting intricate legal documents, conducting thorough legal research, and liaising with clients and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient progression of legal matters. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canberra and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University. Early in her career, she also gained valuable exposure to criminology and forensic science during her studies at Bond University.
