About Daman is a solicitor admitted in the state of QLD, and he brings invaluable experience in our industry from his background as an Education Consultant since 2011. Even Kris seeks his advice when dealing with student visa matters. He is also one of the very few lawyers who had formal training in Australian Migration Law through the Graduate Certificate course he completed in Aug 2018. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, Daman specialises in Employer-Sponsored visas, partner visas (including domestic violence provisions), and other visa categories. Coming from a migrant background, he connects easily with diverse clients and understands their challenges. Dedicated to continuous learning, he aspires to become an Accredited Specialist in Immigration Law. Journey Daman was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2023. He began his legal career practising Family and Criminal Law but soon followed his passion for Immigration Law. In September 2023, Daman joined Kris Ahn Lawyers, further strengthening our team with his expertise and commitment to excellence. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (2022) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (2023). In addition to his Graduate Certificate in Migration Law, he completed a Certificate in Immigration Essentials for Lawyers from the Migration Institute of Australia. His disciplined approach and commitment to staying updated on immigration laws ensure that clients receive accurate, high-quality advice.
