Laila Sfrantzis Hallak

Laila Sfrantzis Hallak is a dedicated solicitor at LTL, joining the team in 2024. With a commitment to providing strong and compassionate representation, Laila guides clients through the complexities of the criminal justice system. She is committed to ensuring that every individual receives a fair defence and that their voice is heard. Laila holds a double degree in Law (Honours) and Criminology from Victoria University. In 2023, she completed her graduate diploma in legal practice and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2024. Laila's passion for criminal law and social justice is evident through her volunteer work as a legal officer for a humanitarian organisation. She has quickly established herself in courtrooms across Victoria, known for her expert analysis of complex situations, development of effective defence strategies, and fierce advocacy. Clients value her dedication to achieving the best possible outcomes. Her professional journey also includes serving as a Community Engagement Adviser for the Electorate Office of the Hon Mark Dreyfus KC MP, and as a paralegal intern at Anika Legal. Laila is excited to continue her work in criminal law, driven by her passion for social justice and a commitment to advocating for those most in need.
