Don Smarrelli

Don Smarrelli is a founding partner and principal of the firm, bringing a wealth of legal experience since its establishment in 1979. Over more than four decades, Don has developed extensive expertise across diverse areas of law, offering clients strategic and practical advice tailored to their needs. His practice encompasses banking and finance, civil litigation, commercial law, conveyancing and real property, criminal law, insolvency, family law, intellectual property, leasing, liquor and gaming law, personal injury, road and traffic law, small business matters, as well as wills and estates. In addition to his leadership role within the firm, Don serves as general counsel for a number of prominent clients, providing legal guidance on both domestic and international matters. Beyond his professional work, Don is dedicated to community involvement, actively supporting multicultural initiatives and medical research fundraising. His service and contributions to the community were formally recognised in 2007 with the awarding of the Medal of the Order of Australia.
