Khalid Mohammadi

Khalid Mohammadi serves as a Legal Consultant at LexGlobal Partners, offering a wealth of experience in corporate and commercial law. His distinguished career includes pivotal roles within the Afghan public sector, notably as Legal Director General at the Central Bank of Afghanistan and Director of Trade and Transit Agreements at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. Khalid's expertise extends to advising both national and international clients on a range of corporate matters, including banking, business registration, share transfers, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and commercial contracts. He has also made significant contributions as a Senior Associate Attorney, where he represented clients in intricate corporate and commercial disputes. Beyond his direct legal practice, Khalid has played a vital role in capacity-building initiatives for key Afghan institutions, such as the Attorney General Office and the Ministry of Justice, as well as various civil society organisations. His efforts in these projects have been instrumental in enhancing prosecutorial skills and advancing legislative and regulatory frameworks across the nation. Khalid earned his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Political Science from Kabul University. During his academic tenure, he actively participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition, showcasing his advocacy skills on an international stage in Jordan and Hong Kong.
