

Shahri Rafi serves as the Managing Partner at Lex Law Australia, bringing a wealth of experience gained from a diverse career in both private and public sectors. Admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Shahri has worked for leading law firms and prominent financial institutions including Macquarie Bank, Westpac, Commonwealth Bank, and PayPal, as well as the National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation. Her legal career is marked by her adeptness in drafting, negotiating, and executing a wide range of legal agreements encompassing consultancy, lease, share purchase, financing facilities, and joint ventures, among others. Shahri's extensive knowledge in financial services, anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism, and compliance with ASIC and APRA regulations complements her skill in handling privacy law, consumer protection, and government regulations. Shahri's educational background includes a Juris Doctor and a Master of Laws from the University of Technology Sydney, as well as a Bachelor of Law from Kabul University. A recipient of the International Development Program's scholarship, she is also an active member of the NSW Law Society and the NSW Young Lawyers Association. Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, loan transactions, banking and financial services, procurement, corporate formation and licensing, property law, and conveyancing.
