Jason Wenning is a distinguished commercial lawyer based in Canberra, renowned for his work with an impressive roster of local, national, and international clients. Since commencing his legal career in 2004, Jason has developed a comprehensive understanding of commercial law, honed during his eight-year tenure at a national law firm.
In 2014, he co-founded Lexmerca Lawyers, driven by a passion for facilitating the best commercial outcomes. Jason excels in delivering exceptional legal advice to a diverse clientele, including businesses, property developers, builders, franchisors, financial institutions, and commercial landlords and tenants. His areas of expertise encompass banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, large-scale residential and commercial property transactions, corporate structuring, estate planning, business acquisitions and disposals, asset licensing, leasing in the commercial, industrial, and retail sectors, and franchising.
With a keen interest in cyber security, Jason adeptly guides clients through their legislative rights and obligations in this evolving field. His educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Commerce, Accounting, and Management from the Australian National University.
