Michael Broughton

Michael Broughton serves as the Legal Practitioner Director at Lime Lawyers, specialising in personal injury law across Queensland. His expertise encompasses motor vehicle accident claims, workers compensation claims, public liability, superannuation (TPD), and disability insurance claims. Since February 2015, Michael has led Lime Lawyers with a focus on delivering tailored legal solutions to clients in the Greater Brisbane Area. Before his current role, Michael spent over 13 years at Trilby Misso Lawyers. He served as the General Manager, where he managed a diverse business operation comprising 200 staff across nine offices in South East Queensland. Michael was integral in coordinating strategic business planning and managing multiple departments, including legal, marketing, HR, IT, and finance. His role involved steering Trilby Misso towards achieving its strategic priorities. Previously, as the Personal Injury Practice Group Leader at Trilby Misso Lawyers, Michael oversaw a team of lawyers while personally managing a diverse portfolio of injury claims. His leadership and mentoring skills contributed significantly to the development of the firm's legal team. Michael's legal foundation is rooted in his education at The University of Queensland, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law in 1999. His extensive experience and deep commitment to personal injury law have made him a trusted advocate for his clients.
