Poppy Matters

Poppy Matters joined Lindbloms Lawyers in November 2021 in the role as head of the family law team. She was then promoted to Partner in 2023. Poppy holds a Degree in Laws and Legal Practice (Hons) and a Bachelor Degree in International Studies from Flinders University. Poppy has a wealth of experience in all matters falling under the jurisdiction of the Family Law Act. She is particularly skilled in the integration and evaluation of complex commercial matters in the family law context. She also focuses on listening to her clients, providing honest advice and advocating for her client’s needs. Poppy commenced practicing in family law in February 2012 and during her career has had experience working as an advocate for clients in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Poppy has served as a Board Member of Shine SA (Sexual Health Information, Networking and Education SA) since 2014 and the Womens Lawyers Association of SA since 2023. She is also a member of the Law Society of South Australia.
