Over her career, she has developed a reputation for her commercial acumen and a passion for resolving her clients' issues swiftly and sensibly. Melanie’s career has taken her across Australia, having worked in Adelaide, Melbourne, and Brisbane, where she played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding a new office. Her move back to Adelaide in 2008 marked a significant progression, and she became a partner in a respected Adelaide firm by 2012. Her time in Adelaide saw her further broaden her expertise, especially in insolvency, banking and finance, property law, and commercial litigation. She has also accumulated substantial experience in wills and estate litigation, along with employment law, handling cases involving unfair dismissal, redundancy, and harassment. Her dedication extends beyond her professional work as she is actively involved in the South Australian Passenger Transport Standards Committee. Melanie’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Laws from Flinders University and a Master of Social Work, underscoring her commitment to both legal excellence and community service. Balancing her demanding career and role as a single mother, Melanie also manages family life with her son and two dogs. Her extensive experience combined with a focus on client relationships fortifies her position as a leading legal practitioner in her community.
