Mabel Chua

Mabel Chua is the Principal at M68 Legal, bringing a wealth of experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws from the University of Western Australia, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance. Beginning her legal career in the commercial and property division of a Perth law firm, Mabel has developed a particular focus on disputes and transactions involving complex financial issues. She represents both businesses and individuals, offering practical and informed advice across a diverse range of matters. Mabel regularly appears in the Federal, Supreme, District, and Magistrates Courts, as well as before the State Administrative Tribunal. Her expertise encompasses advising company administrators and creditors in administrations and liquidations, handling applications to set aside statutory demands, and managing winding-up proceedings. She is experienced in urgent court applications such as interlocutory injunctions and the removal or extension of caveats. Her work extends to advising company directors and not-for-profit organisations on corporate governance, resolving disputes between investors and trustees in breach of trust claims, and representing tenants in retail shop tenancy disputes.
