

Alisha Maharaj-MacLean is a Director and practising Lawyer at MacLean IP, where she serves as a Trade Marks Attorney. Her work with native title clients has honed her interest in intellectual property management within the commercialisation of biodiscovery activities and traditional cultural expressions. In addition to her pivotal role at MacLean IP, Alisha contributes to the legal community as an elected board member of the Legal Practice Board of Western Australia. Her prior experience includes serving as a lawyer at Minter Ellison and holding a directorial position at The Stripey Horse. Alisha’s academic achievements include a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Notre Dame Australia, a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tasmania, and a Master of Intellectual Property from the University of Technology Sydney, where she graduated with distinction. Alisha's dedication to her field is further reflected in her memberships with the Law Society of Western Australia and Women Lawyers of WA.
