Maurice Addison is the founding partner of Maddison & Associates, established in 2009. With a legal career spanning over 25 years, Maurice is well-versed in workplace, industrial, and employment law across both state and Federal jurisdictions. As a former senior union official with the AMWU, he gained invaluable experience in industrial relations, focusing on general manufacturing and construction. This foundation has allowed him to adeptly handle complex negotiations and implement strategies in sectors such as power generation, health, oil, vehicle manufacturing, and the government sector. Admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2007, Maurice has since expanded his practice to represent both employers and employees. His breadth of experience includes representing clients in the Fair Work Commission, Federal Court of Australia, all State Courts, Federal Circuit Court, Family Court, and VCAT. Holding a law degree completed in 2003, Maurice uses his comprehensive knowledge to guide clients through industrial matters, ensuring successful outcomes. Since transitioning from the AMWU in 2005, he continues to enrich his private practice with a diverse range of services for his clients.
