

Mark MacDiarmid was admitted as a solicitor in 1989, after earning degrees in Arts and Law from the University of Sydney. His early career saw him immersed in both family and commercial law within the bustling legal environment of Sydney's CBD. By 2001, Mark held the position of Director at Gadens Lawyers, where he specialised in commercial law, banking and finance, and led the national franchise practice group. Seeking a change, he transitioned to the Blue Mountains to become the Principal Solicitor at Elizabeth Evatt Community Legal Centre, focusing on providing legal aid to those in social and economic disadvantage across several regions. In 2011, Mark established his own practice, drawing on his breadth of experience. Before this venture, he served as a family law consultant at Coleman Greig Lawyers.
