About Michael
Michael Bradley, the dynamic managing partner of Marque Lawyers, is celebrated for his innovative approach to legal practice. Known for his charismatic leadership style, Michael gained attention as a managing partner at his former firm by injecting creativity into the workplace culture. Recognising that traditional law firm environments weren't for him, he founded Marque Lawyers in 2008 with the ambition of transforming the practice of law.
Michael’s expertise lies in Trade Practices and intellectual property, where he has effectively navigated complex cases involving the ACCC, including defending international airlines against price fixing allegations and handling intricate merger authorisations. He is also adept at managing advertising compliance and has been involved in high-profile copyright cases, maintaining a low profile despite his successes in celebrity litigation.
Beyond his primary role, Michael serves as a board member for several organisations, including The Grace Tame Foundation and For Film's Sake, contributing to significant social causes. He is also a passionate columnist for Crikey, where he explores topics such as law, politics, and social justice. An accomplished author, Michael has published works with UWA Publishing, Monash University Publishing, and Allen & Unwin, demonstrating his breadth of knowledge and creative flair.
Previously, Michael held the position of chairman at the Griffin Theatre Company and Conscious Capitalism Australia, showcasing his diverse interests and leadership capabilities. His legal journey began after earning a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney.
