Peter Hunt

Peter Hunt LLB BA, the Principal and Director of Mathews Hunt Legal, began his distinguished legal career in Melbourne. As a senior associate at Corrs, he honed his skills before relocating to the Gold Coast in 2004. There, he served as a partner in two leading firms, eventually establishing Mathews Hunt Legal in 2010. His focus is on delivering top-tier, efficient, and cost-effective legal services, particularly in body corporate law. Recognised for his expertise, Peter is a Fellow of the Australian College of Community Association Lawyers, underscoring his esteemed position within the sector both in Queensland and interstate. Peter's professional influence extends beyond his practice. He is a sought-after speaker at law and industry seminars, contributing significantly to law reform submissions and actively participating in major body corporate organisations nationwide. His engagement in body corporate matters is extensive, encompassing education and reform activities. As a presenter, Peter frequently addresses topics related to body corporate law at seminars organised by Strata Community Australia and various industry conferences. Notably, he spoke on Queensland case law at the 2015 ACCAL conference and addressed management rights issues at the 2015 Griffith University Strata Conference.
