Yousif Matti

Yousif Matti is a Partner and joint founder of Matti Lamb & Associates, bringing extensive experience since his admission in 2013. He is committed to guiding clients through their home ownership journey, collaborating closely with mortgage brokers, financial advisors and real estate agents to ensure comprehensive legal support. Yousif has dedicated significant effort to representing clients whose consumer and privacy rights have been affected by aggressive creditors. Drawing on a thorough understanding of consumer law, he frequently challenges unlawful credit reporting practices by applying his detailed knowledge of the National Credit Reporting Code of Conduct and the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). With a strong interest in Wills and Estates, Yousif also assists clients with family law matters, focusing particularly on supporting parents in children’s issues. His approach is informed by both legal expertise and his experience as a parent. When not practising law, Yousif enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, following sports and indulging in Arabic cuisine. Yousif’s practice areas include credit repair, property and conveyancing, civil litigation and dispute resolution, debt negotiation, family law, wills and estates, and guarantor advice. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice from Flinders University and is admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia, as well as to the High Court of Australia. Yousif is an active member of the Law Society of South Australia, the Australian Institute of Credit Management, the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia, and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
