Andrew Mead

Andrew Mead, Principal at Mead Family Law, has extensive experience in the legal field, having embarked on his career in September 1998. Initially focusing on Family Law and Child Protection, Andrew's professional journey spans roles within government, employer organisations, and private practice. His breadth of experience encompasses areas such as industrial relations and discrimination law, providing him with a comprehensive legal background. Since 2003, Andrew has dedicated his practice to Family Law, with a particular focus on Family Violence applications and Child Safety matters. He is a regular advocate in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, as well as in state Magistrates’ Courts, demonstrating his commitment to advocating vigorously for his clients' needs in these complex and sensitive areas. Andrew's academic foundation was laid at the University of Tasmania, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts/Law. Beyond his professional achievements, he finds balance and inspiration in reading and cherishes time with his family and a growing number of rescue animals.
