After earning her Bachelor of Laws from CQ University in 2018, Karissa completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law, leading to her admission to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2019. Karissa's career began at a local practice, where she built a robust understanding of various legal fields. Her commitment to making a meaningful impact inspired a move to the not-for-profit arena, working closely with those facing tough circumstances. In 2021, she achieved her Master of Applied Laws with a focus on Family Dispute Resolution, further enhancing her ability to assist families in navigating disputes. Driven by the desire for flexibility, Karissa founded Median Law in 2024. This venture allows her to balance professional commitments with personal priorities, ensuring she can focus on her family and clients. Outside her professional life, Karissa enjoys the beach, spending time with friends, indulging in her coffee enthusiasm, and playing golf.
