About Daryl
Daryl Cleofe brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his role as Director at MGB Lawyers, underpinned by over 15 years of service as a NSW Police Officer. His formidable legal acumen is a result of his extensive police career, which involved handling a broad spectrum of criminal offenses and implementing comprehensive Work Health & Safety (WHS) management systems within the police force.
During his tenure with the NSW Police Prosecutions and Licensing and Enforcement Command, Daryl frequently appeared before local court magistrates and NSW Supreme Court Judges. His collaboration with the Attorney General’s Department saw him ensuring regulatory compliance and providing crucial legal guidance on covert investigations.
In his transition to private practice, Daryl joined Clyde & Co, where he concentrated on WHS, employment, and commercial law. He further expanded his legal expertise by co-founding Cleofe Parsons Legal and acquiring CQ Legal, where he ventured into liquor and gaming laws, as well as family law and wills and estates.
In the practice area of Wills, Estates & Probate, Daryl provides clients with comprehensive estate planning advice, preparation of wills, management of probate applications, and resolution of estate disputes. His extensive background in law enforcement enriches his practice in Criminal Law, where he adeptly represents clients in various criminal matters.
